Four passes across one year.
We work the season the way a journal works the page — consult, draw, install, return. Every property gets a hand-drawn plan and a year of follow-ups.
Consultation
A 60-minute walk of the property with the head designer. We map sun, slope, soil texture and drainage on a printed site plan.
Design
Hand-drawn master plan in ink and color pencil. Phased so you can install a section at a time without re-doing earlier work.
Installation
A crew of 4–6 with a foreman on site every day, soil amendments mixed on-site, drip irrigation roughed in before mulch goes down.
Maintenance
A full year of seasonal visits — establishment-watering check, mid-summer pruning, fall cut-back, spring divide. Pressed and logged.
A small studio of horticulturists, designers and stone-cutters.
We started in 2010 with a single Ford and a bed of asters. Fifteen springs later the shop runs out of Haywood Road with 14 full-time staff — three ISA-certified arborists, a master mason, a landscape architect, and a back-of-house horticulture team that grows our own perennials.
